HHIMS Implementation Begins at NIID
The National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) has commenced the implementation of the Hospital Health Information Management System (HHIMS) from the forth week of September 2026, marking an important step towards improving patient care and hospital services.
Patients visiting NIID are kindly requested to bring their National Identity Card (NIC), Driving Licence, or any other valid identification document for registration.
The new system is expected to streamline patient registration, reduce waiting and processing times, and improve the efficiency of OPD and clinic services. NIID appreciates the cooperation of all patients and the public in supporting the successful implementation of HHIMS.
