The ceremony brought together the hospital administration, healthcare staff, and invited guests to invoke blessings for the institution, its staff, patients, and the nation while expressing gratitude for a century of dedicated service in infectious disease prevention and patient care.<br \/>\nThe Pirith Chanting Ceremony marked the official beginning of the year-long centenary commemorative programme, celebrating NIID&#8217;s remarkable 100-year journey and reaffirming its commitment to excellence in clinical care, public health, research, and education.
